The example .ldif and .conf files show a configuration using ldapdns and Bind-LDAP on the same server. Bind-LDAP has a forward zone which forwards to 127.0.0.1 port 54, where ldapdns serves requests. The forward configuration does also work with standard BIND, so it's an easy way to integrate LDAP based DNS into an existing infrastructure.
